Atlantic Immigration Pilot for Employers

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot is a partnership Program between the Government of Canada and the 4 Atlantic provinces which was launched in 2017 in-order to invite immigrants to the Atlantic Provinces of Canada

  1. Newfoundland and Labrador
  2. New Brunswick
  3. Nova Scotia
  4. Prince Edward Island

This Pilot Program Allows Atlantic employers to hire qualified candidates for jobs that they haven't been able to fill locally. To apply for this Pilot Program, you can be living abroad or be in Canada temporarily. You must have a job offer before you can apply. If you meet the requirements, you'll get PR status. This means you can live and work in Canada indefinitely.

Streams Under AIPP Pilot Program

APIP has 3 Streams:

  1. Atlantic High-skilled Program
  2. Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program
  3. Atlantic International Graduate Program

Who Can Apply?

Each program has their own requirements:

Atlantic High-skilled Program

To Qualify under this program applicant needs to

  1. Worked in management, professional or technical/skilled job for at least a year.
  2. Occupation should be listed under level (O, A, B)
  3. Have at least a Canadian High School diploma or equivalent education.
  4. Show language proficiency in either French or English language. (At least CLB level 4 or higher)
  5. Show they will be able to support themselves and any accompanying family member when moving to Canada.

Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program

To Qualify under this program candidate needs to

  1. Have worked in a job that requires a high school education and/or job-specific training for at least a year.
  2. Occupation should be listed under level (O, A, B, C)
  3. Have at least a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent education.
  4. Show their language proficiency in either French or English language. (At least CLB level 4 or higher)
  5. Show they will be able to support themselves and any accompanying family member when moving to Canada.

Employers who are offering a job-offer to the candidate also need to fulfil some requirements.

Atlantic International Graduate Program

For candidates to Qualify under this program, they must:

  1. Have a degree, diploma or other credentials from a publicly-funded institution in an Atlantic province.
  2. Have lived in an Atlantic province for at least 16 months in the 2 years before getting the degree, diploma or credential
  3. Need to take a language testing examination to show their language proficiency in English or French. . (At least CLB level 4 or higher)
  4. Show they will be able to support themselves financially and any accompanying family member when moving to Canada.

Documents required

  1. IELTS Scorecard: Minimum requirement of CLB level 4 or higher in IELTS.
  2. Education Credential Assessment: you will have to apply for ECA and equalize the education standards.
  3. Proof of Funds: Sufficient funds to support yourself and your family, However the requirement Is less when compared with Normal Programs

How does process flow

  1. Profile Eligibility check and Approval by Green Tree Immigration A grade Attorney's

  4. Training for IELTS
  5. EDUCATION CREDENTIAL ASSESSMENT (ECA) applying for this document will evaluate the standard of education and applicants educational credentials and equalize with the Canadian standards
  6. EXPRESSION OF INTREST (EOI) this an application submitted to the Australian government includes all the mandatory documents (IELTS or PTE, Skills Assessment)
  7. Submission of Medical certificate and Police clearance certificate and other supporting Documents will be sent to the embassy for clearance
